The setting is the extraordinary mountain landscape of the Dolomites, on the side of the Selva that gets the best sun. Surrounded by green meadows, our holiday home in Val Gardena has enviable views of the Sella group and the Sassolungo.
Because the ski lifts are so close by, Casa Wurdengeja is the ideal starting point for a multitude of sports you can do in the Dolomites: hiking, rock-climbing, mountain biking and bike racing, skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
While the parents relax and take the sun in the garden, the children can run around and play in our private play area.
Casa Wurdengeja is a family owned and your hosts are the sisters Johanna and Michaela Senoner.
There are two welcoming and spaceous apartments available, each of them taking up an entire floor of the building.
Apartment Johanna is on the second floor and Apartment Michaela is on the third floor.
In just a few minutes by foot, you are in the town centre, which has all the necessary services including pharmacy, shops and restaurants, ice stadium, church, and a large public playground etc. While you are on holiday with us, you can easily do a variety of activities without your car.
For guests, we have private parking, heated ski storage, indoor bicycle parking with reserved access, and outdoor bicycle parking in summer.
Johanna apartment

Our comfortable new “Johanna” apartment is located on the first floor. It has a living room, separate kitchen, three double bedrooms, all of which have a bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet.
NEW: exclusive bike and ski storage!
On summer days, our wide balcony lets you easily sunbathe, enjoy the beautiful view over Selva, or, while sipping an aperitif, admire the extraordinary sunset as it tinges the Sella Group a vivid pink.
With fine solid wood parquet (no veneer) and custom-made built-in furniture in wood, the Johanna apartment offers you a restful stay in an ambience full of atmosphere.
A large armchair placed in one of the bedrooms can easily be converted into a comfortable single bed (bringing the number of beds to 7).
Our comfortable living room is furnished with a lovely majolica tiled stove, a big comfortable sofa, a bay window that offers a beautiful 180° view (from the Cir Group to the Sella Pass, Sassolungo and up to the Sciliar) a large round table, perfect for cheerful get-togethers, chats, card games accompanied by a good glass of wine. There is also: satellite TV, a safe, some board games, books about the Tyrol and some good children's books.
The kitchen is equipped with a large table with bench and 3 chairs, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, utensils, baking trays and an iron.
NEW:
The bike and ski room is completely new and is exclusively reserved for guests of the apartment Johanna.
This room is at ground level, without stairs, secure access by code and a comfortable bench.
- Summer: bike room with locking of bicycles, tool bench, wheel pump, sink and washing machine.
- Winter: ski room is heated, new ski boots dryer and new wall ski rack.
Also included are: underfloor heating, hairdryer in all bathrooms, bed linen and towels.
Michaela apartment

Welcome to Apartment Michaela
This nicely-furnished apartment on the second floor has a living room with sofa, separate kitchen with table, small pantry, three double bedrooms each with bathroom with shower/toilet. Large balcony with panoramic views over Selva and the surrounding mountains.

Casa Wurdengeja is the perfect starting point for so many sports, such as hiking, rock climbing, mountain bike touring and bike racing. Doing your favourite sport or activity, or even going on a simple walk with the whole family, will give you the chance to explore the extraordinary natural landscape of the Dolomites, breathing in the pure fresh mountain air.
